Very good hotel Nice hotel with a fantastic location, very close to the train station and easy reach to the public transportation. I've spent four days in First Hotel G and I had great time, relaxing holiday worths every penny I've paid. The room was clean and well-decorated with comfortable beds. The breakfast was really special with various selection and staff was friendly. Over all, First G Hotel has a intimate and warm atmosphere. 4.2

"excellent hotel" Stayed at the First G for three nights with my wife on a recent trip to Gothenburg. What a fantastic hotel, ideally located right next to the bus station and right over (literally) the train station. First impressions of a hotel are very important and this one didnt let me down, great entrance via an escalator up to open plan reception/ lobby/ bar area. The front desk staff were very friendly and we were checked-in in seconds. the glass elevator to the rooms was spectacular as was the lay out of the corridors with an open area in between (you need to see it to understand). The room had everything you would expect including mini-bar and safe and the bathroom was a wet room with very powerfull shower. Beautifully designed and finished the room was a pleasure to stay in. Breakfast was superbly presented and such a huge choice. We cant wait to go back to visit this great town and great hotel.

"Very Nice" First Hotel G is honestly one of the best in Gothenburg. I have stayed at many of them, and even the 5 star ones are of lesser quality than this wonderfully decorated hotel. Not "Ian Schrager Cool", but contemporary and personal. Perfect location on top of the central station (which is not as dodgy as many other CS). Excellent service and housekeeping, but the only con is the lack of a fitness room. Add that, and you have a perfect hotel.

Comfort and quality at a fair price Living over a busy railway station is probably not the first choice that springs to mind but you would be wrong if you're thinking of a short stay in Gothenburg.The First Hotel G surpassed all our expectations for spotlessly clean rooms, bright modern fittings, a superb breakfast and welcoming and friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble.My family and I have stayed on three occasions iin the First Hotel G during the last year and each visit has been up to the very high standards we experienced on our very first time in beautiful Gothenburg.Its unsurpassed central location and ease of access to public transport links, convenient shopping and places of interest have meant very special memories for these visitors from Scotland. We have travelled extensively throughout Europe and find it difficult to think of anywhere that we have enjoyed so much.
